Planning a trip
You have 90 days from your purchase date to arrive at your destination and connect. Your plan starts when you arrive, not when you buy, so you never lose days before your trip.
Day 0: Purchase

Day 90: Automatic activation

In the UAE, an eSIM can't be bought or downloaded once you're in the country, so get it before you travel.

On your iPhone, open the Camera and point it at the QR code

Tap Cellular Plan (or Mobile Data Plan), then follow the prompts
Once you're at your destination, go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Service) → choose your eSIM and turn on Data Roaming. Turn data roaming off on your regular SIM to avoid charges.

Once you're at your destination, go to Settings → Network & Internet (or Connections) → Mobile network and turn on Data roaming for your eSIM. Turn data roaming off on your regular SIM to avoid charges.
Heads up
Keep the eSIM on your phone until your trip is over, and don't share your QR code or install details with anyone. Your eSIM works on one phone at a time, and reinstalling it is limited. If you need to reinstall it, contact us and we'll help.
